One-Time Keys for Vendors and Deliveries

A one-time key gives someone — a vendor, a delivery driver, an inspector — temporary access to a property for a single scheduled window, without going through the guest or cleaner code flow.

What you set

When you create a one-time key, you provide:

• A description or label, so you know who it’s for
• A PIN, 4 to 8 digits
• A date
• A start time and an end time

It expires automatically

The key is only active between its start and end time on the date you set. Once that window closes, the code stops working on its own — you don’t need to remove it manually.

You can’t create one for a window that’s already passed

If you try to set an end time that’s already in the past, GuestsKey rejects the request. One-time keys are for upcoming access, not a retroactive record.

How many you can have at once

A property can have up to 5 one-time keys active at the same time. If you need another before you’ve hit that ceiling, create it as normal; if you’re at the limit, remove or wait out an existing key first.
