Wi-Fi locks via Seam
On supported locks, guest codes are prepared within 72 hours of arrival, keeping far-future bookings from occupying code slots months ahead. Access follows your configured stay window; preparing a code early doesn’t grant early access.
Z-Wave locks via SmartThings
SmartThings doesn’t support time-bound codes. GuestsKey adds the code at your configured check-in access time and removes it at checkout, including any buffers you’ve set.

How do the volume tiers work?
Each tier applies only to the locks in that band. Your first 10 locks use the first rate, your next 20 use the second, and locks from 31 onward use the third. Tiers are calculated separately for each connection type. All features are included at every volume.
Can I keep my existing locks and PMS?
If your models and connection method are supported, yes. We review your actual hardware and PMS setup before planning the switch. Any required hardware or third-party services are separate.
Can you help me move from Lynx or another provider?
Yes. We review your existing setup, start with one property, and verify the workflow before expanding. Keep your current service in place until we have agreed how and when to hand over each property.
What happens to upcoming guest access?
We review upcoming stays and existing codes together before cutover. The pilot helps us verify guest access and coordinate each property’s changeover.
Do you charge per property or per lock?
Connected locks are billed per unique physical device. Two locks on one property count as two; a shared lock counts once. A property with a static door code and no connected lock costs $0.99/month. Thermostats and SMS are billed separately.
What if I have a mix of lock connections?
Enter your Wi-Fi and SmartThings lock counts separately in the calculator. Each connection type starts at its own first tier. We show every tier calculation, then add both subtotals into one monthly bill.
